As little boy Georg suffered under scarcity of paper. When he was four years old, he prefered drawing trucks and locomotive steam engines. Soon, they decorated free places in the rare books of the poor household. When the bible of the family showed first traces of the rage of drawing, aunt Maria found a solution : She brought waste paper of a paper-factory.
Amazing perspectively representations have been produced by the seven years old boy. In the third class of Primary School he draws the complicated Church tower bulb from below.
During his time in grammar school, some of his paintings reach Tokyo and Brasil, for the Matura-dance, he designs his first big scenery. His first exhibition (Murau, 1974) brings very positive feedback.
Every possibility for further education referring to the knowledge of art and for technic was used, especially in the fields technic of pressure-diagrams and photography. Most artwork is influenced by Georg Gasz´s struggle for freedom, justice and solidarity, other ones show him as a passionate admirer of women.
Exhibitions and participations first have been shown in Styria. Georg Gasz starts art-education for adults in the 90's. It is also the decade when he leaves traces as culture-adviser in his home-municipality Oberaich (building of the hall of culture, the large painting at the subway of S6 and so on). Exhibitions in foreign countries started in Acropoli, 1996 ( Southitaly), and soon in Hungary. Up to now, three times the police was called by fools, who felt offended by the straight-lined and often drastic meaning of the paintings and designs.
